Everything Is A Remix
Poster
Based on the YouTube movie Everything Is A Remix by Kirby Ferguson, I created a poster that utilizes a collage base. For my collage, I wanted to design a dense, organized, and literal piece that used imagery of retro-80s, space, and nature.
First Draft
For the information, I used the font Futura in Condensed Medium, Medium, Medium Italic, and Bold. To show visual hierarchy, I grouped the information and placed it in different sections of the poster.
Revised
To make the text placement more dynamic I enlarged the title text across the whole width of the world and placed it in a criss-cross pattern, with the additional information also following the pattern.
